Me: X has a stomach bug.

Austin: Oh, that's too bad. Tell him not to swallow any pesticides.

Me: Why would he do that?

Austin: To kill the bug. It doesn't work on stomach bugs.

Me: Oh, good god.

Austin: Don't tell him I said that.
