Austin
bought a five pound bag of masa flour. He pulls it out and presents
it like a trophy.
Austin:
The whole bag was a buck-fifty.
Me,
more than a little skeptical.
Austin:
X told me how easy it is to make tortillas. So I'm going to make
tortillas.
Me:
We just went to *Mexican restaurant. You have six tortillas in the
fridge right now.
Austin:
I want fresh tortillas.
Me:
I'm sure they were fresh the day we went to X restaurant.
Austin:
But it's my day off. I can do what I want with it.
Me:
You're eating the tortillas that are in the fridge before you make
any more.
A
few days later, after the tortillas were eaten and Austin had made
three tortillas, using approximately one cup of masa.
